DESCRIPTION

This PAINTfactory High Temperature Coal Paint for Ceramic Coals (400ml) is formulated to rejuvenate ceramic or artificial coals commonly used in gas fires and fireplaces. Its heat-resistant formulation withstands temperatures up to 600°C without peeling or cracking, providing a durable matte black finish that restores the natural coal appearance. The spray design enables even, controlled application to clean, cool surfaces, making it convenient for quick touch-ups or full restoration. Primer is not required for typical use—just ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. The paint is touch dry in approximately 2–3 hours, with full curing achieved over 24 hours under ambient conditions. For optimal durability, allow the item to gradually heat up during its first use to help set the coating. The paint is not intended for direct flame contact, but is suitable for heat-exposed components like ceramic coals in gas-effect fires.

DIRECTIONS

Ensure surface is clean and dry. Shake can well before use. Spray evenly on cool surface from a distance of approx. 25-30 cm. Allow to dry for 2-3 hours. Full cure within 24 hours. Gradually heat during first use to set coating.

Use in well-ventilated areas. Keep away from flames and sparks. Avoid inhalation and skin contact. Flammable aerosol.
